WMS Parents:
Thank you for entrusting us with your student and working with us to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment for all. It is essential for the academic success of our school community.
As you know, we maintain high safety standards. As another proactive measure to mitigate future disruptions to our learning environment, we are informing you of a new smartphone policy. Students who are charged by law enforcement for their role in the creation or distribution of an online threat to student safety will lose their privilege of bringing a smartphone to any Bartow County school facility, event, or bus for up to one calendar year from the date of the incident. Students affected may possess non-smartphones that have no access to internet or social media platforms.
Thank you for your attention to this matter as we continuously impress upon our students and families the importance of school safety and security.
Sincerely,
Michael Blankenship
Principal
