We are excited to welcome Courtney Rimmer to the WMS staff. Ms. Rimmer has been a pararprofessional at Taylorsville Elementary the last few years. She will serve as in inclusion paraprofessional for us. #TheWoodlandWay #EveryStudentEveryDay

We are proud to welcome Mr. Eric Bailey to our staff. Mr. Bailey comes to us with over 25 years of teaching and coaching experience. He will be serving as our ISS paraprofessional, as well as coaching football at WHS and driving a bus when needed. We are so honored to have him as as Wildcat. #TheWoodlandWay #EveryStudentEveryDay

Ms. Wilkes, Ms. Bagley and Ms. Moore (not pictured) help make our office run smoothly each day. Ms. Bagley is our new receptionist and attendance clerk. She's not new to WMS, but new to the position. Our staff has had a busy week during pre-planning. We have been working dilgently to prepare for students to return. We had a professional development on Friday to help us prepare fully for this school year. We have the very best students, parents and staff of any school around. Recently, our media Specialist, Sabrina Price, presented at the Northwest Georgia RESA STEM Forum. This training was provided to educators across the Northwest Georgia region. She presented on the topic of "A Learning Hub's impact on STEM and Student Success." Learning Hub is the new name for what was formerly known as the Media Center or Library. Ms. Price did an incredible job with her presentation. We are so proud of the learning that happens daily in our Learning Hub. Our board representative, Butch Emerson, stopped by today to drop off a gift for Terri Smith, who is retiring in just a few weeks after 20+ years of service. What a thoughtful gesture. It truly is #Betterinbartow. #TheWoodlandWay

We had our 2nd and final STEM showcase for this year last Thursday. We invited parents to this Showcase. It was wonderful to get feedback and encouragement from our WMS parents. What a great way to end the school year. #TheWoodlandWay

Our 8th grade formal on Saturday night was amazing. Thanks to everyone who helped put on this incredible event. A lovely time was had by all. And our 8th graders have some pretty good dance moves. #TheWoodlandWay
