Meet Ashley Boling. She's our new ESOL teacher. She is not new to BCSS. She's been at Cloverleaf Elementary School prior to coming here. Here's Ms. Boling in her own words:
"Greetings, Wildcats and Family! My name is Ashley Boling, Ms. Boling to most and Mom to two boys.
This year, I decided to alter the course of my educational journey and take on a new challenge as the ESOL teacher, here at Woodland Middle School. I am passionate and devoted to enriching the lives of children, no matter their current circumstance. We all have the tools to accomplish extraordinary things. We just need the right opportunities.
I began my teaching career at Cloverleaf Elementary as a 5th grade teacher in 2019. It was not only a blessing, but it sparked a fire in me to make professional moves without fear of indifferent outcomes. Having graduated from Woodland High School in 2003, I never dreamt I would be serving the same institution that grew me... but ready or not, here I come, Wildcats!
Seeing as I am currently back in school for my master's degree for School Counseling, there is not a lot of downtime, but when there is I enjoy watching Crime Shows, WWE, and "trashy" reality television. If not filling my head with trash television, I am hanging out with my teenage sons, enjoying what quality time I have left.
I am stoked to be a part of this inclusive family, called WMS. I look forward to being a part of the growth and excellence that Woodland breeds. Let's Go Cats!" #THeWoodlandWay
